Every year, we plan a Memorial Day trip to Philly to visit with my family.

It’s a great opportunity for my kids to be with their cousins and for us to eat some Korean food. But it’s an 8 hour drive. With 3 kids going on a half-day trek, we have to plan and pack strategically. Thankfully we have the mini-van. I don’t care what people say, I absolutely love mini-vans. Like a second home on wheels.

A Reflection on the Past 31 Days

writing every dayFor the month of August, I committed to blogging every day (every Mon ~ Friday). I did this for several reasons. First, to publicly document my thoughts and ramblings in a more coherent manner.

I try to write every day, but this forced me to publicly share my thoughts. I love writing. Even if it’s in short amounts (like 15 minutes), hence the name of this blog: write15minutes.com.

Second, in order to see if more consistent blogging leads to more consistent readership. I have heard time and time again, if you want more readers – then you have to blog more often. So I tried every day for August.

Did You Save Room for the D-Word?

We were celebrating my birthday recently, so the boys took me out to Buffalo Wild Wings (their favorite place to “treat” dad). Our boys’ ages are 10, 8, and 2 – so this place is like a wild and crazy carnival with loud music, 3,200 TV screens, and little tablets (yes, they provide tablets!) for mobile apps and games. Or what I like to call “quality family time.”
