A Reflection on the Past 31 Days

writing every dayFor the month of August, I committed to blogging every day (every Mon ~ Friday). I did this for several reasons. First, to publicly document my thoughts and ramblings in a more coherent manner.

I try to write every day, but this forced me to publicly share my thoughts. I love writing. Even if it’s in short amounts (like 15 minutes), hence the name of this blog: write15minutes.com.

Second, in order to see if more consistent blogging leads to more consistent readership. I have heard time and time again, if you want more readers – then you have to blog more often. So I tried every day for August.

Here are a few thoughts I have as we all embark on the last third of 2015. *Can you believe we are 2/3 done with this year?*

Same Scenario, Different Result

Library books

My kids like to read. My wife, Amanda, likes that the kids like to read. She often rents books and audiobooks from our local libraries. That’s right libraries. We have multiple accounts with multiple libraries – you never know how long you have to wait for the next book in the “Magic Tree House” series. That Mary Pope Osborne is an evil mastermind genius.
